Is 2012 the end of earth?

Until a couple of years ago there were not that many people who were
acquainted with the end of the world 2012 prophecy that was put
forward by many scholars who studied the end of the Mayan long
calendar. This Long Count calendar has lasted for five thousand one
hundred and twenty five years, and although the end of the calendar
leads to many different interpretations, one of the most popular is
the belief that at the end of this cycle the world (or humanity’s
existence) will come to an abrupt end on December 21 2012.
Is the world going to end in 2012?

If you are a Bible believer then this is what the Book tells us:
Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.
Ecclesiastes 1:4

Also consider when he says:
For this is what the LORD says –
he who created the heavens, he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited –
he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other." Isaiah 45:18
Well no doubt that there will be a "Doomsday" a "Last Day" and we
the bible readers know how the end will be like BUT not when will
this happen.

Because according to Mark 13:32

"But about that day or hour no one knows,
not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,
but only the Father." These are the words of Jesus.

More over just think that would you spend many hours in painting,
brushing and designing a painting and burn it up.God made earth and
he delighted in that.
The Earth will not only survive the coming year 2012
but all the years to come. Just be sure that your God does not
delight in death but in life & peace. So enjoy your new year and
be on guard as we are in the days where we could welcome Jesus at
anytime BUT it's defenitely not the end of the planet earth or humanity.
